Are you Team Jon or Team Joe?

Generally the New Body Plan ship is a stable and harmonious one. That may, however, be all set to change, says programme creator Jon Lipsey

It’s time to pick a side. From Monday next week newbodyplan.co.uk editor Joe Warner and I are going to be in separate camps and we want you to pick a side.

On Monday 8th June I will be starting the New Body Plan Advanced 28-Day Bodyweight Blast. Anyone who signs up before then will join my training group and be part of Team Jon.

Mr Warner, on the other hand, will be starting the original 28-Day Bodyweight Blast on the same day. So if you sign up for that you’ll join Team Joe.

Team effort
There are a couple of reasons we’re doing this. Being part of a team will do wonders for your motivation. It makes you accountable not just to yourself but to everyone else who is doing the plan. After all, you don’t want to let your team mates down by turning in a half-hearted session or giving up after a couple of sessions.

It also gives us a chance to interact with you directly, which is something we always enjoy. In these isolated, socially distanced times, it’s the kind of morale boost we could all use.

As team captains we’ll be posting regular updates and tips on social media. We’ll also send you a special weekly email with advice on how to smash your upcoming sessions.

Pick a side!
To help you decide which option is right for you, here’s what you can expect from each of the plans:

 Team Joe: 28-Day Bodyweight Blast
• You’ll do three short (about 15-25 minutes) sessions a week
• It’s ideal for those who are getting back to fitness or those who are struggling to find the time to exercise
• The pack will be available at a 50% discount

Join Team Joe!

Team Jon: Advanced 28-Day Bodyweight Blast
• You’ll do four intense (about 30 minutes) sessions a week
• It’s ideal for those who have already done the 28-Day Bodyweight Blast Pack or those who already have an appreciable level of fitness and want a new challenge
• The pack will be available at a 50% discount
