Fit at 40

At the end of last year I turned 40. It’s a milestone birthday so I wanted to arrive at the big four-oh in the best shape possible. I designed for myself a challenging but do-able training plan, then followed it to the letter.

And guess what? It worked. I hit 40 feeling great and in pretty good nick. Broad and defined chest, bigger arms, six-pack abs. Check, check, check. It’s no exaggeration to say I’m in better shape at 40 than I was at 20.

Pleased with my progress, and because the saying “If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?” has been replaced by “If you don’t post in on Instagram, did it even happen?”, I uploaded a top-off selfie to the ‘Gram.
